Technology Plus was formed in 1995 by David Pariseau, an embedded systems designer now with over 35 years of design and development experience. Since then it has provided embedded systems expertise in products spanning many industries including: high-capacity battery packs, instrumentation, drones, medical devices, telephony, consumer electronics, financial payment, industrial controls, and machine design.

Particles Plus
I co-founded the company which makes air quality monitoring instruments. I worked up the specs for the product line with my business partner. Then, I developed all the hardware, the bulk of the firmware and software for all the products. I also created most of the production equipment and procedures for assembling and calibrating these instruments. These are high quality optical particle counters used in the industrial and air quality industries. Everything was designed from the ground-up, we make our own battery packs, display interfaces, sensors, pumps, etc. These instruments have multiple 8 and 32 bit controllers along with an FPGA and sophisticated analog processing. https://particlesplus.com
Invenio Imaging
They are a startup working on a medical imaging system using Raman spectroscopy to provide near real-time tissue images for medical diagnostics. I came into the project when they had a proof-of-concept with some off-the-shelf boards and some created by various consultants. I redesigned all the boards, fixing a number of issues and implementing a lot of new fucntionality. I helped bring all of these under their quality process (per FDA regulations) and helped walk the product through regulatory certifications. https://www.invenio-imaging.com/
Vimaan Robotics
They are working on some high-quality drones targeted for indoor industrial applications. They needed someone to deliver a prototype for an NIH phase I contract. The prototype used machine vision to move a multi-axis robotic arm to pick-up and deposit medical micro-plates to/from a custom cradle. I did all of the hardware and firmware for the prototype which was successfully completed. https://vimaanrobotics.com/
Octillion
I cofounded the company which makes high-capacity battery packs mostly for electric vehicles. I did all of the hardware design and much of the firmware design for these battery packs. These packs have been integrated in over 45,000 vehicles (mostly in China where we have two large factories) and accumulated over 700 million kilometers. http://www.sinoev.com/
Financial Industry products
I worked for several startups in the payment space. I developed most of the hardware and firmware for the initial RFID payment terminals at ViVotech, which ultimately became the Mastercard Paypass systems. I was also the lead developer for Qsecure which developed a dynamic magnetic stripe which involved magnetic mems, a custom ASIC, aggressive battery management and integration all with a VERY small form factor.
